Oo-de-lally! Advantages: DVD version of a classic Disney film, great video & sound quality, bonus features Disadvantages: none ...on the sofa, watching Disney's Robin Hood. I can't imagine there are many people who don't know the story of Robin Hood, but in Disney's 21st animated feature film, the story is brought to life by the animal kingdom. Little People, Big Trouble Advantages: Good things come in small packages! ! Disadvantages: none The Borrowers! The film is classed as a "u" film, meaning that it is universal and suitable for all. It is a great family film, good for the rainy days. The film: Pod (Jim Broadbent), Homily (Celia Imrie), Peagreen (Tom Felton) and Arrietty (Flora Newbigin) otherwise known as the "clock family" being small isn't as easy as it sounds (or looks!) They are "The Borrowers" which are a family of four inch tall people who live under the floorboards of ... ...But trouble arises when the nasty local lawyer Ocious C Potter (John Goodman) threatens to have the house demolished...... "what will they do now?!!!" Well the borrowers find themselves thrown headfirst into a big bad world of adventure and fun fun fun! ! ! The theme of the film is Fantasy action drama! There's NO bad language No sex or nudity scenes However there's some very mild fantasy violence. Tomorrows People, Yesterday Advantages: Good fro the kids Disadvantages: Dated The Tomorrow People. Series 1 - The Slaves Of Jedikiah / Medusa Strain / The Vanishing Earth I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness. Remembered nothing ... ...and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007. You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. As with all heroes they have a secret base and a super computer, here called TIM, who helps them get out of trouble many, many times. They have adventures inventing new technologies and ... Small but certainly Mighty! Advantages: Good fun story, wonderful animation Disadvantages: strange looking humans! The Kingdom of Dor is famous for its soup and once a year the whole kingdom come together to try the new soup which the chef has carefully prepared for them. Things go wrong though when Roscuro the Rat arrives in town and cannot wait to get hold of and sample the soup. As a result of his eagerness he lands in the Queens soup and as a result she faints and then drowns in her bowl of soup. The King now so upset banishes all mice and rats from the Kingdom ... ...is all taking place in the Mouse words a little strange big eared mouse called Despereaux in being born. He is different from the other mice as he does not cower or get scared of cats. He is brave and adventurous. As a result of this he gets to see the Princess and tell her of a story he had just read in the library and she asks him to go on a quest to discover how it ends.
