A very touching film

...a film. I knew that Dumbo is a classic of Walt Disney and that it is a film about an elephant, but this was all. I haven’t seen the film until yesterday afternoon. My 28 months old son started to watch it sitting in his highchair while I was sitting next to him feeding the younger one. To be honest I was curious as well. Review of Dumbo (Animated) (DVD)

Hey Dumbo!

Advantages: Cute, classic
Disadvantages: Quite old and it shows in some ways

...some point in their lives. Dumbo was the 4th ever animated film made by Disney and was released way back in 1941. The story: Mrs Jumbo elephant wishes for a baby of her own like all the other circus animals. However when the stork delivers him she gets a surprise as he has huge ears! Mrs Jumbo loves him all the same and names him Dumbo. Poor Dumbo however is ridiculed by all the other animals because of the size of his ears. Not to be put down ...
...characters. Most noticeable is that Dumbo doesn't actually speak throughout the entire film! Even his mother Mrs Jumbo only speaks once and that is to say his name at the beginning of the film. Advantages: More of those loveable characters
Disadvantages: A typical film number 3

...I wanted to see was Ice Age 3, mostly because I wanted to complete the series and find out what happens, having seen the other two films on the way out.
