There are some great things in the original series that I loved and I think they make it unique. 1) One of the first Cinema series to use huge amounts of special effects. Remember that this was a loooonnnggg time ago and some of their work was ground breaking! 2) The ships they all fly about in make the best noise for a spaceship ...

Pinocchio - a voyage to the darker side of Disney

Advantages: Jiminy Cricket, clever animation, lovely score
Disadvantages: Lack of good songs, too scary for young children

A must for adults and kids alike

Advantages: Great story Great animation Great lessons learned
Disadvantages: Can be quite distressing to young children

...a legend in my house! Pinocchio is as everyone knows a puppet, who wants to be a real boy. Advantages: great fillm and music
Disadvantages: it goes on for just over two hours

...which makes music sound much beter and picks up all the music in great detail. my disney collection is growing not having this film would be a shame. Review of Fantasia (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

...for adults as well and Ice Age 3 certainly delivered on that front. I've seen Ice Age2 on TV but not the first film and never in the cinema. On top of that this was a 3D show. The story essentially follows Manny, the mammoth, his heavily pregnant wife, Ellie and Diego, the sabre toothed tiger as they venture under the ice to a land where dinosaurs are not extinct.
