Harry potter 1-5 dvd Advantages: great film, Disadvantages: parts from the book not in the film All of the harry potter films are fantastic action adventure films. I think that they are brilliant films to watch with your family as all the films have a great story. In my opinion the harry potter series is one of the greatest of them all. Reading the Harry potter books help with the story line but it is not needed as it is very easy to follow compared to films like the Matrix ect. The Harry potter films are a must see in my opinion. Third Best 'A Christmas Carol' film Advantages: Looks very Christmassy, Well Directed Disadvantages: The people look creepy ...for those who live in a hole or have dementia, A Christmas Carol is the story of Ebonezer Scrooge (Jim Carey) and is passage by fire from twisted, grumpy, old miser who hates Christmas to the very opposite (except he stays old). Children of the 1980s will be blown away Advantages: great fun family film good all round for action adventure laughs and love Disadvantages: not for younger children in my opinion ...of the 80s and watched transformers as a child you will love and be blown away by this film.Im female and loved the action and adventure with some good laughs thrown in and of course a bit of a love story , i want a bumblebee of my own Wont go into story line as it will spoil it. lol. Happy..or not so happy tree friends Advantages: Fun Disadvantages: If you are a sensible soul...then dont try it The Happy Tree Friends are cute, cuddly animals whose daily adventures always end up going wrong. The day always begins the same : happy, bouncing, smiling... just like in heaven. But then the it goes terribly wrong .. ending up with someone killed or eyes out, their neck cut or so on. Tho it is a bit brutal i find it quite funny and tho im against this kind of shows i always watch it with pleasure. Hey, you guys! It's the Goonies! Advantages: classic, fun and adventure. Disadvantages: A wee bit dated now ...A film that stirs up the same warm feelings that Labyrinth did. That film, is of course, the goonies. Released in 1985, this film is a collaberation of Speilberg, and Colombus. So, it had to be good. Speilberg Has a way with kids films. He seems to blend in that extra touch of magic. The film is best described as an adventure, with a good whack of comedy thrown in.
