Advantages: great family film Disadvantages: probably only watch once
OK, so I'm nearly 23 but I've wanted to see this film since I saw it advertised when it was at the cinema. Not being able ton convince anyone that they too want to watch it I decided to watch it once lonely Saturday night. I had visioned a bit of a twist on Mary Poppins but this wasn't to be. I do not want to give away the plot. The film is aimed at children however I did enjoy it! It did have it's twists and turns and so the plot wasn't entirely ... ...of the film is but I wouldn't recommend letting young children watch it alone, anything about 8 or 10 will probably be fine on their own. This film had some great acting from Colin Firth but inparticular from Simon, the young boy. I'm sure I've seen him in something before but can't quite place what. Children will find the film funny and perhaps scary in parts but it's a non stop film with no scenes there just to fill. Great family film for a rainy ...

So, onto the story

Care-a-lot is where the Care Bears live, and it's such a nice place to live, ...
Advantages: Childhood memories, hasn't lost its charm, and still makes me laugh Disadvantages: Quite expensive, perhaps not to everyone's taste as aimed primarily at children
...the DVD. Maid Marian series 1 was released on DVD in March 2006, and had been sitting on my Amazon wishlist ever since - one of those things I'd quite like, but not at the top of my priorities. At Christmas (2007) I ordered a load of stuff from Amazon from my husband to myself (rather than him buying me presents which I don't really want), and this was one of the things I ordered.
Maid Marian and her Merry Men was originally shown on BBC1 in 1989, ... ...still. We often watched Maid Marian together, and sang along to the theme tune - we both enjoyed it. To be honest I don't remember a great deal about the show (I suppose it was quite a while ago now - I didn't see it when it was rerun in 2001), except for the theme tune - "Why don't you, carry on, with what you're doing, blah blah blah, blah blah, blah, blah, blah blah, blah, blah blah…" It doesn't sound like I even remember that very well. I remember ...
