A lovely DVD for little ones

Advantages: Perfect for both of my kids
Disadvantages: Nothing that springs to mind!!!

The DVD is basically a number of short sketches with some of them being live action, some animation and also a few puppet scenes. Review of Oxbridge Baby - My First DVD (DVD)

The Prince of the Forest Returns

Advantages: great story, excellent animation, lovely music
Disadvantages: None from me or hubby

After watching Bambi I did manage to get Bambi 2 on DVD but for some reason never got around to watching it, as a result it has sat on my DVD rack for well over a year now. Last night for some reason I just fancied watching it so hubby had no say in the matter and we sat and watched it together. The film stars with the Prince of the Forest asking the Owl if he will help find a suitable Doe to raise Bambi now that he has no mother but the Owl suggests ...

Review of Bambi 2 (DVD)

Good fun!

Advantages: Dialogue, cracking pace, excellent animation
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for children who are old enough to understand innuendo

Review of Ice Age 3 - Dawn Of The Dinosaurs (DVD)

"I thought you guys were extinct?"

Advantages: amazing picture quality, good fun for all the family!
Disadvantages: Cant think of any.

I bought my wife Ice Age 3 for Christmas. She asked for it. Can't say its my type of film, but being a loving husband I sat down and watched it with her anyway. The first thing that struck me, being a blu ray, is the amazing quality. Animated films and comic-esque outings (like the Simpsons) always take full advantage of the High Definition nature of blu ray and make a movie a pleasure for the eye to behold. Ice Age 3 is quite possibly the best example ...
...were apparently living below the ice and meeting a swash buckling weasel who helps save the day. All the while, we get to watch the fun adventures of the little chap chasing his acorn, that have been present in the past films. This time, there's a love interest!!
