Fail Safe DVD

Synopsis Jack Mosley (Bruce Willis) is an aging and burned-out NYPD detective. Maybe once upon a time he was one of New York's finest, but now he is a haunted, out-of-shape, shadow of his former self. Retirement probably cannot come too soon, but until then booze fogs his mind and gets him through each day. Miller and his soldiers reluctantly agree to help the company, and what follows is a searing finale in which German and Allied forces fight an immense battle to establish control of the bridge. This is a gripping conclusion to the film, ensuring that the viewer is completely engaged and engrossed in the story until the very end. Even the biggest fan of Private Ryan would have to acknowledge, though, if he or she were honest, that the film does have somewhat of a limited appeal, given that's its subject matter may fail to grab the immediate attention or interest of a contemporary audience. Still, this is one of only a few aspects of the film which could be considered a weakness. ...I went to see this film at the cinema last summer because it had good reviews in the newspapers and it looked good by the trailer and I was not disappointed at all it was brilliant and well worth the ticket price, so as soon as the dvd came out last month I had to get it.
