FC United Of Manchester - Mid-Season Review - Our Club Our DVD DVD

Advantages: Some decent parts and good extras
Disadvantages: Some not so decent parts

...It was my Dads birthday a few weeks ago now and my auntie bought him a copy of the Manchester United official movie on DVD, it's been out quite a while now but we enjoyed watching it. Me and my dad being serious United fans, we sat down and watched it. We bought the copy of 'The Treble' on DVD too and were very impressed by that, but this is what we thought of 'Beyond The Promised Land'... The DVD is basically the behind-the-scenes story of Manchester Uniteds ups and downs of the previous 99/00 season. (That was 2 seasons ago now) The movie shows all the facts, filming and behind-the-scenes gossip which doesen't seem that appealing but is pretty good for what it's worth. Advantages: 245 mins of Chelsea action, loads of interviews, good access to training ground etc
Disadvantages: Nothing

...Even though I support Newcastle United, I have to admit I am a big admirer of Chelsea and it was great to see them finally win only their second ever league title after such a long wait. On the 30th of April 2005 it was finally their moment once again. 04/05 was a record breaking season, apart from the loss against Manchester City and the bad refereeing in the Champions League against Liverpool (it was NOT a goal!!) it was a season most teams can only dream of. Chelsea scored a record number of points, they conceded the fewest goals and kept the most clean sheets in the history of the Premiership. This is the best football DVD I have come across, whereas most review DVDs are approximatilly 90-100 minutes this one is a massive 245 minutes long! Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: gets abit boring after a while

...This 2-disk DVD is great value for money as it is the complete 2002-2003 series,it comes with all the goals,games and glory you would expect from it such a quality product like this. This season is when Manchester United won the Premiership and beat the greats like; Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool.I would highly recomed this to any Manchester United fan or even any one who is interested in football. I got my copy last week for £15.99 but im sure you can find it cheaper in different shops if you just look around shops or even on the internet.
