Advantages: The Best Account of the FInal Available on DVD Disadvantages: The sound and picture aren't great
...From a Die hard Sunderland fan undoubtedly the best day in Sunderland Association Football Club History, when they took on Leeds in the 1973 FaCupFinal. After defeating Luton Town 2 - 0 in the quarter final and Arsenal 2 - 1 in the Semis, Sunderland's CupFinal Slot was secured. Leeds on the other hand defeated Derby County 1 - 0 in the Quarter Finals and beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2 - 1 in the semis. On the 5th May 1973 the teams took the pitch in a hard fought encounter. Then in the 31st Minute up popped the late, great Ian Portefield to bag, what would turn out to be the winning goal in the FaCupFinal, to bag it for the Black Cats. Advantages: Leeds win, nostagic Disadvantages: Old cameras, faded colours
...As a young follower of LeedsUtd, my generation has been constantly reminded of the 60's and 70's. I had never had the chance to watch a game from the 'Revie' era, and when my step-father bought this for me for easter, I thought it was time to watch and see how true the rumors were.

I have thoroughly enjoyed it and have watched it several times already, and see it as a perfect present for both seasoned fans (who remember the great team from the 60's/70's) and young fans (who wish to learn about the team there parents tell them of)....

Advantages: only for man utd fans Disadvantages: as a football fan its worth missing
...well i guess this is a must for all those man utd fans out there.regardless of the fact i follow liverpool i think 99% of the fans from both sides will agree this was one of the most boring cupfinals ever.yes of course the man utd contingent can bask in the glory of yet another win over liverpool but when all said and done it was dismal at best.i remember watching this on tv all those years ago and i think i actually said "thank god" when cantona scored a late winner.the thought of extra time had me wondering whether to get out a pot of paint, douse the walls and watch it dry.i so very nearly did.so please,if your just a basic football fan and you want to add to your collection then i would recommend 100 other titles but not this one.oh and to all the man utd fans that own this dvd i would watch the whole 90 minutes again and tell me...
