Advantages: Hilarious comedy, good viewing Disadvantages: only 3 episodes, expensive to buy whole set individually
...Another installement to my DVD collection - the epic and classic comedy hero - Mr Bean. I love Rowan Atkinson, especially in Black Adder and also in the classic Mr Bean episodes. Despite my mood before hand, after watching Mr Bean I always feel much better, he always manages to intrigue my imagination with his biazarre mannerisms and abilty to turn the most straight forward of tasks into complete disaters!
Having not being able to buy the whollebox set I have had to purchase and review each DVD volume one by one.
This DVD contains 3 episodes, each with 3 or 4 sketches in them. All of whihc are brilliant and this DVD includes one of my favourites - the one where he goes to the swimming pool and clings to the diving board. The three episodes are entitled: Episode 1. 'The Curse Of Mr Bean', Episode 2. 'Mr Bean Goes To Town...

Advantages: Another great collection of classics Disadvantages: Still some glaring omissions
...The 'Very Best Of...Volume 2' DVD is excellent but once again is something of a wasted opportunity and is something of an ecletic mix.
The episodes featured here are mostly wonderful but just as Volume 1 was basically a selection of Series 7 episodes this is a selection of Series 8 episodes but with one surprise inclusion:- 'The Bath' is an outstanding black and white episode from the 1963 Series 2. Like most of the original 1960's episodes it is sheer quality and has more cutting edge and sharper humour than the later 1970's episodes.
The problem with its rightful inclusion in a 'Very Best Of' collection is that its sound and picture quality is at odds with the rest of this particular collection.
Here is a run through of the 5 episodes on offer - once again, despite the omissions (still no 'Divided We Stand' perhaps...

Advantages: it will keep the kids quiet for hours Disadvantages: it is only for the kids it will not apeal to anyone else
...This is a great DVD that will appeal to all children under the ages of 11. It is a great addition to the pokemon series that every pokemon fanatic should have. It features loads of pokemon in bright colours that look good on any telly.
It features 5 totally different episodes oak napped, the blue badge of courage, showdown at the oak corral, were no angels and my personal favourite cerulean blues in which misty tryst to reclaim her gym.
I think the voices of the pokemon work well and charm. The voices of the humans are easy to rember and don`t sound at all odd.
The caracter and secenery drawing in my view is well draw and full of charm it is easy to get used to and grows on you well i did to me.
This is very out off the ordinary because there is nothing like it that has kept on going for so long there used...
