The film stars Nicolas Cage as an international arms dealer.
It's not a very good film.
According to www.thestranger.com: "When the film deals with the nuts and bolts of the weapons business-especially Yuri's uneasy coexistence with a sadistic Liberian despot (the scene-stealing, Freon-veined Eamonn Walker)-it carries a nifty, amoral charge. Where it falters is in the larger rags-to-riches-to-rags framework, which comes off as both moldy and maddeningly condescending (the moment where Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" plays over a shot of some folks doing blow may well be the head-thumping nadir of the year)."

Advantages: makes you tired Disadvantages: bad graphics, boring, slow, makes you want to smash it up
dragon wars is the worst film i have ever seen! its all about an old man who asks this boy to find a girl who is enchanted or something and has mystical powers, she is the girl who will bring a magical dragon from heaven to fight the evil dragon.at the end the girl dies but it is a very poor ending and the film tried to be a sob story, but frankly, its a load of cheap ,low budget rubbish.
there are some scenes that dont make sense, for example when the guy gets shot head on and he just gets up and walks away, and when the guy unleashed a power and it burned everything around him ,but his ropes were still tied up,then he runs to the girl.
it really is the most terrible movie ive ever seen, would never watch it again. ...

Advantages: Well put together programme Disadvantages: Featured only American troops
and we see foot patrols, in the South Pacific battle zones. Some of the footage is so crystal clear with such perfect colour that it could have been shot yesterday, rather than during the middle of the last century.
The use of footage filmed at the time, and the reading of extracts from contemporary letters from the soldiers who were serving in that particular "theatre of war" is a very good device to tell the story of how the American GIs suffered as they battled against the military forces of the Japanese empire.
Some of the scenes are quite harrowing, including one where an Okinawan civilian woman, so indoctrinated by her government about what the American troops would do to her, that she would rather leap to her death from a high cliff so although the DVD is "Exempt" from classification, you might not want some younger children to ...
