...This is a truly moving story of one man's fight for his freedom when he is wrongly accused of multiple murders.
A young man comes across a book written by the accused legend known as 'The Hurricane' and along with two friends helps fight for his release from prison. They face many obstacles along the way, but with the help of a few key eyewitnesses they put together a strong case and are eventually able to take the case to a retrial.
A story or courage, loyalty, determination and belief in a forgotten hero. It portrays the discrimination that was once apparent between different races all over the world. Award winner Denzel Washington plays the lead role.
I would strongly recommend this film, even if you only watch it once you will be sure to remember the powerful story line forever....

...When I first saw this film, I got the impression that the man-creating genre had been used to extinction, but i was wrong! , The acting is pretty goodon the whole and the special effects are great in combination with the setting of an amazon rainforest. A motley group do battle with a very large snake (an anaconda no less), with a very cleverly thought out plot and lots of frightening action with a slightly far fetched scene where the snake eats a man in his entirety (as snakes tend to do) and then spits him back out; the man is covered in digestive juices then winks before collapsing to the floor. These kind of quirks make for a very innovative and eye-catching form of a genre, a pleasure to watch!...
