Extreme Music Fun (Animated)

...This film has excellent, funny characters. I would recomend it for a whole family to go to see, although it is probably best for 6 to 13 year olds. the plot moves along at a reasonable pace and the ending is extremely good. you will probably laugh at the typical over the top animation. The sidekick weasel character and its acorn are fun and their comedy never seems to end. The film is computer animated to a very high standard and the artwork for it has a very distinctive style. The story is about a group of animals which stay behind at the beginning of an ice age and find a baby human, they try to return it but there are some less friendly animals along the way too... there are also some stupid animals along the way! ...I watched this video with my kids thinking that it was just a childrens movie which would keep them quiet for an hour or so. I was extremely surprised at how funny it was for adults as well. Even my husband joined in the fun for once. The animation was brilliant. The characters were so funny but the best bit was right at the end during the credits when they show what is supposed to be outtakes where the characters have messed up their lines - such a brilliant idea (for those who are not sure remember that this is animation - no real people, thats why this is so funny!!)... Advantages: Ideal for all Barbie fans
Disadvantages: A long way from the original swan lake story

...Barbie is bak in this fun packed animated DVD, dancing to loads of fun Ballet music including Tchaikovsky's classic Swan Lake. This is a lovely DVD for children who enjoy either Barbie, animated films or dancing (which includes most children I feel). The presentation of the story is very good and the characters are all well thought out and enjoyable to watch throughout. The story flows nicely and will keep your kids entertained for hours. Whilst the original story of Swan Lake gets a little lost, the story told here is still very enjoyable and well worth buying. I thought that the extra features such as the bonus material and music videos make the whole package very appealing, and the Merry Memory Ballet Game is good fun too.... Read review
