...Hi fellow Ciao reviewers! I'm back with another film review on the latest Disney film I've watched...Finding Nemo.
For those of you who aren't really sure about watching this movie, I've started in the usual fashion with a few well chosen quotes from those critics!
"A clown fish without a punchline, a blue tang without a memory, a scarred prison hero fish, and a stoner dude sea turtle make for this summer's tallest fish tale."
Jeet Thayil, REDIFF.COM
"Children and adults alike should be enchanted...as quietly charming, cheekily amusing a family feature as you're likely to encounter this summer."
Frank Swietek, ONE GUY'S OPINION
"A gem of a movie, and exactly what we expect from our friends at Pixar."
Eric D. Snider, ERICDSNIDER.COM
***TECHIE STUFF***
This film was produced by Disney and Pixar Animation Studios...

Lift Method
Chris has an unusual aproach to his first swim. His tackle consists of a 50 year old split cane rod and a centerpin reel. The terminal tackle used is a simple float to be fished lift method...

...talent to be able to act so brilliantly while suspended, five floors in the air, upside down with only the ground below you, to pull off a performance like he did was excellent.
Some people may be aware that Michael Palin and John Cleese had worked together in Monty Python, one of their more famous moments together was the Parrot sketch from Monty Pythons flying circus. Although they are not close characters in A Fish Called Wanda, when they do work together they do so extremely effectively.
The Director
----------------
Charles Crichton & John Cleese direct this film, Charles Crichton directed films throughout the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. I feel that it is relatively obvious from the film itself that John Cleese is one of the directors, it just screems Cleese at me, each joke and stunt is pulled off with comical precision...
