Exit Wounds starring Steven Segal and the very HOT and talented DMX. ~ Steven Segal is a cop who doesn't really do his job "by the book" and therefore, his chief got feedup of all wrong doings and sent him to Detroit, which is one of the roughest areas in America, so that is tough anticts might be straightened out there.
DMX is the brother of a "criminal" who was set up by the police to take the fall for there own law breaking activities. DMX who is actually rich, tries to set up the bad cops who sent his brother to jail.
At the beginning of the movie Segal as the police officer believes that DMX to be a drug dealer, just out to get some money. But then in a fight scene which is director is known for, we later find out the hiden story about his brother, and his fight for justice.
Segal who has some comedy lines in this movie, joins together with DMX to uncover the illegal business of some of the police officer. As we go through the movie we realise that not everyone is what they seem. Those who we believe to be the good guys end up being the worst bad guys out of the lot.
Is this film going to get Segal back to the top??? Truthfully I'm not too sure, it has the same feel to Romeo Must Die, although a good film, it won't make it's mark on the industry, but definately a good startin gof for DMX, but there just doesn't seem to be many parts for an aging action hero in today's entertainment business.
DMX was good considewring that htis was his first big-budget film, (although he appeared in Hype Williams movie with Naz.) Just wished that he could have kicked some more butt when he was fighting, and not see Segal beat him.
Segal himself wasn't too bad himself, he pulled of the dry humour quite well and being smooth with the women didn't seem to be to difficult(Not my type personally.) But still an entertaining film to see.
