Chillates is a workout brought to us by the Ministry Of Sound. Combining Yoga, Pilates and the Alexander Technique, it provides a full mind and body workout which improves balance, aerobic fitness, co-ordination and muscle tone. Programmed by a top choreographer, Litza Bixler gives the voice over and introduces the DVD and she has designed it with beginners, intermediate and advanced users in mind meaning there really is something for everyone.

With so many fitness DVD's out there at the moment it can be hard finding something that is right for you. In this section I will give my opinion on everything from who this will suit to how challenging each section is and how long the workout takes to the all important results. Hopefully this will give you the best idea...

Advantages: Enjoyable, easy to follow workout with added extras Disadvantages: Some of the banter could get annoying in the future
...is easy on the ear and has a good enjoyable beat - all the tunes are recognisable without being off putting as they are those cover version karaoke style background tracks of songs with good 'workout' beats.
I never thought I would ever say this… but…. 'I love this workout'
Exercising has never been something that has interested me, but after losing 2 ½ stone, and wanting to lose more (along with wanting to tone up) exercise was the only sensible was forward. This DVD certainly delivers an enjoyable workout with the benefit of some sensible advice about eating....

Advantages: Good music Disadvantages: You need dumbells!
...I bought this DVD as I decided I didn't necessarily want to lose weight but just wanted to improve my general fitness. However, I soon got bored with it and it hasn't been used for a number of weeks now.
At first i felt quite motivated and determined and this was encouraged by the fact the DVD allows you to 'bail out' at certain points - I used this to set myself a new target, so each time i did the DVD I would try to reach another 'bail out' section. In total, I think there are 5 or 6 different points in which you can bail out before completing the cardio section.

The DVD starts with Nell giving a brief introduction and explanation of the DVD.
***Workout 1***
This is the warm up section which takes you through some war up exercises such as marching on the spot, and then also some stretches...
