This film has the dubious honour off being one of the worst films I have ever seen at the cinema. The story goes as follows.Meteor lands.Aliens evolve at alarming rate threatening to take over America.Varios cliched characters help destroy alien presence.Yipee. The love interest doesn't add any thing to the film and the characters are completely one dimensional.I could accept all of this if the film was funny as it's meant to be a comedy.It made me laugh twice in nearly two hours,so it didn't suceed in this area either.I did fall asleep at one point for a couple of minutes so may be I missed something. The films special effects are good and the soundtrack was good as well ,so I am trying to give a balanced view. Overall I feel I may have been slighty harsh as its a certificate PG, so the younger ones among us may enjoy it ,but as consider Walt Disneys Beauty and the beast one of the best films I have ever seen,I'm not adverse to kids films either. Overall a waste of good actors and good ideas.
