Clone Wars Volume 2, better it is!
Review of Star Wars - Clone Wars Vol.2 DVD by  CaptainDisaster

Advantages: Everything that was good about Volume_1 + more coherent storyline, more humour, and better extras
Disadvantages: Too short at only an hour

...In The Clone Wars Volume 1, we saw the Republic under attack from the Separatist droid army led by General Grievous, with the cloned warriors and Jedi Knights struggling to withstand the onslaught. In Volume 2 we see how the Clone Wars progress to the point of the story blending in with the beginning of Revenge of the Sith. The anime-influenced animation continues to impress visually, and the "Connecting the Dots" featurette reveals how unashamedly nerdy some of the animators working on the project are. Among several amusing moments in the interviews with Director Genndy Tartakovsky and his team is the excitement caused by them being allowed to include Wookies in the story - it was a dream come true for some of them! The featurette also explains how, following the success of volume 1, they were given more leeway with the storyline... Read review

walt Disney Fables Volume 2!
Review of Walt Disney's Fables - Vol. 2 (Animated) by  jemma20

Advantages: 6 short stories so keeps the children entertained without them becoming bored!
Disadvantages: Cant spend time with my niece as all she wants to do is watch it!

...This DVD is fantastic! It kept my niece (and myself!) entertained for over an hour! It contains all the magic of disney and its unique story telling layout will mesmerise the children long enough for you to have some 'me' time! It is one of those DVD's that they can watch time after time and not get bored as it contains six short animated childrens stories which will keep the children entertained!, It was well worth the investment! The DVD contains all those favourite stories such as the ugly duckling and The old mill and i would say it is well worth the purchase especially if you have children between the ages of four and ten! In fact the only draw back is i cant spend time with my niece anymore as all she wants to do is watch this DVD!... Read review

South Park - Series 2
Review of South Park - Series 2 (Box Set) by  dc1971

Advantages: No compromise, hilarious, cartman, refreshingly non-pc
Disadvantages: depends on your standpoint..bad language, politically incorrect, dubious subject matter, childish

..., this is not a series for you. It has to be said at this point that series 2 is actually less controversial (even) than topics covered in other South Park dvds and storylines. THE PACKAGE '' South Park series 2 consists of 4 dvds in a neat box set, labelled volume 4, 5, 6 and 7 (following on from the volumes in the dvd package for the first series). For those that appreciate it, the set is in the same design and package as the preceding series and the following three. It is very well put together, with the feel of a quality product despite the garish colours and whatever your opinion of the actual series happens to be. By this I mean that the box is sturdy with all the episodes, plus an accompanying synopsis, listed clearly by volume. The whole of the series is here (6 hours, 36 minutes) - consisting of 18...
