Advantages: Re live a glorious European semi-final from the 80's Disadvantages: It makes you sad we aren't this good anymore!
..., British Championship winners & British Club Champions, as well as the European Cup Winners' Cup title added in 1985. The clubs most successful eras have been the 1930's, 60's and 80's, the latter two being largely dominated by the club.
I was fortunate enough to grow up during one of the clubs most successful era's, the only negative being that I have had to endure over 20 years of dross and sadness since, as the club have declined and are quite possibly playing the worst football in the 125+ year history .... great !!
Anyway, this DVD is a great way to re-live one of Everton's past glories, with many of the players involved from the era sighting this particular game as their greatest moment in an Everton shirt. As the DVD blurb points out ... "Managers and players will tell you that winning a Semi-Final of any competition can be more...

Advantages: Exciting, entertaining, innovative Disadvantages: Lack of BBC/SKY commentary

Advantages: About 10 good goals Disadvantages: 240 rubbish goals, poor case, picture quality, slow replays (to name a few)
...My mum bought me the '250 Greatest PremiershipGoalsDVD' a few Christmas' ago now, and when I unwrapped it I was initially very excited about the DVD. However, the word 'greatest' is used rather liberally when applied to this DVD. I was expecting 250 goals full of sublime passing, awesome movement, lovely neat inter-play and stunning finishes. In actual reality, I got about 10 good goals and 240 other goals that in my eyes cannot be classed as great!
There are an awful lot of these DVD's around with compilations of greatgoals, but this one is the worst that I have seen. The front case is very poor with dreadful pictures and horrible writing and a poor layout. The DVD doesn't run particularly smoothly and the picture quality was dreadful.
**Features**
Well, obviously you would think that there are 250 goals on this DVD. However...
