Advantages: Some good songs Disadvantages: A lot of the songs are very similar
...I really enjoyed this DVD, it isn't particularly my 'type' of music, but some of the songs were actually really good. I received this as a gift, but I'm sure it is available over the internet, or in DVD/music stores nationwide. I'm not sure I'd go as far as to suggest that it's a must buy, certainly not if you're not really aware of who the Eurythmics are and what sort of music they play. The DVD is incredibly 'camp' i just imagined many women (and some men) dancing around their handbags to this collection. As music DVDs go this certainly isn't the best I've seen, but it is also far from the worst. The DVD itself is really simple to navigate through and it looks incredibly professional. If you like the Eurythmics then you should seriously consider buying this, then again if you're a Eurythmics fan you'll probably own all of these...

Summary
This is a great DVD with a great selection of songs. You get the older songs "Lunchbox", the louder songs "Irresponsible hate anthem" and the quieter "Cruci-Fiction in space". The fact they are live and not just music videos make it so much better. The songs are performed at different places and spliced together but that doesn't make...

Advantages: Not quite sure Disadvantages: Silly plot that will leave you NOT wanting more
...hard to resist?
The film ends in tragedy on New Years Eve and a new realisation comes from it for 2 of the main characters. This ending made no sense to me whatsoever. I just didn't "get it" - it must be something that went far deeper than I can ever be!
MUSIC
~~~~~~
The film uses background music a great deal throughout and some famous songs are used in various scenes such as Peggy Lee's Fever, George Michael's Faith, Sam Browne's Stop, Eurythmics' SweetDreams, Bryan Ferry's Slave To Love, Lionel Ritchie's Hello and Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive.
The film's very pleasing background music was composed and performed by Vangelis.
WHERE TO GET IT
If, after reading my review, you'd like to see this film, you can get hold of the DVD from Amazon for £4.97, from Play.com for £4.99 (free postage), or rent...
