George Orwell's classic dystopian novel is remade in the form of 1984, the second screen incarnation of the classic tale. John Hurt stars as Winston Smith, an Outer Party member who starts to rebel against The Party. Richard Burton stars as O'Brien, the mysterious and enigmatic Inner Party member with whom Smith forms an unlikely friendship. The film itself is quite faithful to the book, brilliantly portraying the world Orwell envisioned in his book. The performances are believable and the film manages to hold the viewers attention throughout. Advantages: Brilliantly written
Disadvantages: May be too heavy for some

acclaimed ?Animal Farm? published in 1945. A satirical review of the Russian revolution drawn in the analogy of a farm established Orwell as a major political thinker of his day. Ironically, Orwell?s own political persuasions were far left of centre typified by Orwell?s departure to Spain to join the left?s efforts in the Spanish Civil War of 1937. Advantages: Realistic handling, realistic car damage
Disadvantages: Basic 2-player, qualifying and race pace differences

The Official game of the RAC British Touring Car Championship, with the cars, drivers, teams and tracks from the 1997 season. Positives & Negatives: [+] Realistic handling from Analog controller, and support for the NegCon and MadCatz wheel. [+] Four different views - with the HeadCam coming with a windscreen viper for the worse of the (six) weather conditions. [+] Considering there are 16 cars - the attention to detail in the collisions, and that the racing stays fairly smooth. [-] You've got to be really reckless to be given a warning for dangerous driving. And it's down to your driving that brings about the retirement of the computer drivers.
