Advantages: All the goals, and great moments from European Tour Disadvantages: All the goals AGAINST us, sending us down
...All the promise from 2000/2001 season is not carried on through to the Tractor Boys European Tour, and this VHS/DVD shows the demise of one of the most attractive footballing teams that the Premiership has seen.
Showing all the highs and mainly lows of the season, as well all the goals and some interviews. It is a tidy little presentation, well worth a view if you didnt see any highlights of the season.
Although I had a season ticket with the Blues, this is a good VHS to catch up and appreciate some of the good football we played. Also, I do like buying the videos and DVDs to keep a collection.
Also features extended highlights from the UEFA Cup, from the three ties of Torpedo Moscow (miss of the season is in the away tie), Helidsingborg (great away win) and of course Inter Milan.
Overall, a good VHS to own to recapture...

Advantages: A fantastic collection of shorts. Disadvantages: None.
...Cinema16 is a fantastic compilation of European short films, giving you a glimpse at some of the most undervalued cinematographic handiworks, many who were crafted by some of the leading voices of modern cinema, such as Danish director Lars Von Trier, the controversial English comedian Chris Morris, and even the madcap French director, behind the infamous Dobermann (1999-2000), Jan Kounen.
The funny thing about the Cinema16 DVD is that there is no rating to be found on the box; especially funny when you consider the strictness of the BBFC, and also, it's occasionally ridiculous ratings (for example, Rosemary's Baby being rated 18 - pathetic).
Cinema16 could be considered a "certified 15" in my opinion.
Individually, the short lengths vary between 8 and 20 minutes, frequently between 10 and 15 minutes, bringing the whole 16 shorts...

Advantages: Greatest season of my living life Disadvantages: Makes me cry (with happiness)
...Was the Istanbul Champions League final the greatest final of all time, Undoubtedly! Liverpool 2005 European Cup adventure brought a rollercoaster of emotions to all true Liverpool fans, and will always be remembered. From the moment the tournement started Liverpool were cast aside from the favourite to take the trophey, and it seemed as though it was correct when they didnt have the best group stages, but a spark was lit in Liverpools fire when playing Olympiakos needing to score 3 goals after going 1-0 down to progress to the knockout stages, it seemed unlikley but Steven Gerrards typical wonder strike shot Liverpool into through. Liverpool went on to beat Beyer Leverkusen, the then mighty Juventus and english rivals Chelsea. Liverpool faced up against AC Milan in the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul. Liverpool went 1-0 in the first 2...
