Advantages: Visual + Audio Showcase of a live session Disadvantages: Could of been more of the show on the 2nd DVD
What an excellent DVD.
Comes in 2 DVD edition, but the 2nd DVD is more the 'Making of' type of thing that you generally get in a 2 DVD set.
The first DVD - is the actual show that went on in Gelredome Arnhem on 29/30th October 2004.
25,000 tickets were sold for this show, one of the largest in the world to attend to watch / listen to just 1 single DJ.
The actual event itself lasted for approx 8 hours, with a cut down 200 mins on the first DVD of the actual show.
If you like DJ Tiesto, then I highly recommend getting this DVD, especially if you have your DVD player linked to your AV Receiver / Surround Sound System, will sound truley amazing.
Go and get yourself a copy from your local store. ...
Advantages: A fantastic collection of shorts. Disadvantages: None.
Cinema16 is a fantastic compilation of European short films, giving you a glimpse at some of the most undervalued cinematographic handiworks, many who were crafted by some of the leading voices of modern cinema, such as Danish director Lars Von Trier, the controversial English comedian Chris Morris, and even the madcap French director, behind the infamous Dobermann (1999-2000), Jan Kounen.
The funny thing about the Cinema16 DVD is that there is no rating to be found on the box; especially funny when you consider the strictness of the BBFC, and also, it's occasionally ridiculous ratings (for example, Rosemary's Baby being rated 18 - pathetic).
Cinema16 could be considered a "certified 15" in my opinion.
Individually, the short lengths vary between 8 and 20 minutes, frequently between 10 and 15 minutes, bringing the whole 16 shorts ...

DVD Review
If you are into contemporary jazz or simply just want to hear something new and refreshing, this DVD will surely captivate your heart as it has captured mine. Michael Buble (I cannot find the special 'e' character to denote a specific pronunciation of his last name. But yeah, it is pronounced with two syllables) who has I believe brought back to life Jazz in its more refreshing tune was sensational in this concert of his in Wiltern Theater in L.A. sometime in 2005. He was just so charming singing some hits of the past breathtakingly effortless. This concert just made me love Michael Buble more.
I especially like Michael Buble's duet with Laura Pausini on "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine." It is romantic and swaying and it reminds me of Robbie William and Nicole Kidman's "Something Stupid". "Feeling Good" is also my ...
