I picked this DVD up off of our enormous DVD pile the other day, i have no idea what attracted me to it. Im a girl so it deffinately wasnt the lure of the naked female body which the front cover seemed to promise, (probably the reason my dad bought it though!). Anyway, me and my brother put it on expecting an evening of pure trashy rubbish american comedy, How wrong could we have been. It was hilarious! Most comedies that are around tend to be quite subtle with the humour and require you to have brain to be able to understand some of teh jokes, but you didnt need a brain to understand these jokes! They were very much in your face and frankly hilarious. And sorry guys but there isnt actually a lot of nakedness in it, just a bit it boobie at the begining! The lead character Scottie is very gorgeous and so girls, dont worry you have something to drool over aswell!
The basic story is that the lead character Scott goes on a trip around Europe with the ultimate aim of getting to Germany where he will meet up with the girl of his dreames "maik" (i think thats how it is spelt!?) He takes his best friend Cooper and meets up with "the worlds worst twins" on his journey round europe. The have adventures around london and paris to name but a few european cities.
VINNIE JONES ALERT!!!!!!!! I have loved vinie jones ever since he was in Snatch. I didnt even know he was in this film untill Scot visited a Man U suporters bar in london, and who turns around to "greet" him......vinnie! Smashing bottles over his head and shouting obscenities at french drivers who "drive on the wrong side of the f&^%$Łg road", he manages to bring another hilarious section into the film.
Soundtrack......."The Jam", " Jet".......need i say more!!! oh yeah and funny foreign versions of wellknown us and english hits!!!he he he!
Overall this film is definately worth seeing, if you just need a good old belly laugh!
