Euro-Militaire 2006 Special DVD

Advantages: All the best bits from an exciting season in F1
Disadvantages: would have liked a little more on Schumachers retirement

...Formula One Review 2006 (dvd) As with all F1 review DVD's this has the best moments from the whole season on it. 2006 was a great season for formula one with Renaults Fernando Alonso taking the World championship for a second year running and confirming his status as one of the best drivers in the world. In doing so he became one of only eight drivers in the history of Formula one to win back to back titles. This is something he shares with the ever great Michael Schumacher and as any Formula one fan will know 2006 was also the year in which he announced his Retirement from Formula one ending what has been said is the greatest formula one career of all time…his records speak for themselves. Advantages: Some decent matches, a good Royal Rumble, sound and picture quality is great
Disadvantages: not so good DVD extras, the 2 main championship matches are weak,

...but it is worth watching this was the 4th match on the event. John Cena vs Edge (w/Lita) - WWE Championship I found this boring I am not a John Cena fan or Edge so I really never cared about this match. Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry (w/Daivari) - World Heavyweight Championship Putting these 2 together Kurt Angle is a good wrestler Mark Henry is rather boring. But a great ending to the match with the Undertaker showing up which was great to end the event. Overall Royal Rumble 2006 has it's good share of matches but this one is not classic and i don't think it will be remembered. The DVD extras are not worth it at all 2 boring extras which are - Kurt Angle and Mark Henry Story - Rob Van Dam and Tatanka Smoke A Peace Pipe Oh theres one thats pretty good - Past winners of the Royal Rumble But why add Rob Van Dam and Tatanka smoking... Advantages: A good overall feeling of the isle of man tt
Disadvantages: doesn't mention the fantastic tt nightlife

...(which kind of states the obvious). The marshels guide is not really worth watching unless you want a laugh. All six of the races are covered showing many different camera angles from the ground and the helicopter. There is also a bonus on board lap with Guy Martin. At the TT 2006 The amazing John McGuinness (who i met woohoo!!!) won the superbike race claiming himself a lap record at a unbelievable pace of 129.4mph lap. It was not long ago that people were saying that the 130mph lap it impossible and will never be reached. If your into sidecars this is the dvd for you. If your not then maybe this will convert you to the wild side ; ) ! The well known sidecar racer Dave Molinuex who is so used to winning the TT it would be a shock not to was not racing this year. Him and his passenger Steve Hallam had a crash in practice and the oufit set... Read review
