...it first appeared on T.V, because i love the country and i would love this kind of lifestyle, but the thought of somebody like Hugh- aaaah!!!. I expected him to die when he picked up the first garden tool, but it didn't take long to win me over and several years later, when the DVD's appeared, i started to collect them (sad i know). Don't write these DVD's off without giving them a go, i know a lot of people that love River Cottage, when you wouldn't think that they personally would be interested. Part of the reason for the success of these series and the ongoing and ever expanding project is obviously the urge to escape from the rat race and the ever increasing demands on our time, the other part is down to Hugh who turns out to be quite an amiable chappy. Advantages: good for basic football skills and drills
Disadvantages: no slow motion effects

...Giggs's goals during his time as a youth player and professional football player. Some of the best goals including his wonder 'solo' goal against Tottenham are worth watching over and over again. Goals include during his youth days and Premiership. Advantages The DVD guided basic soccer skills and certain features like Additional Footage provides good replay value. As I watched this DVD over and over again, although the DVD simply explain basic soccer techniques and skills, it reflects in my opinion Ryan Giggs's characteristics on the football pitch. In short, honing these skills are essential to become a great 'Welsh Wizard' winger. Downside Ryan Giggs is a relatively quiet person so we don't get to know his true personality. Funnily enough, in common with Marti himself, I don't actually think this was their best, personally I think Julia Says or Strange deserves that accolade. You can imagine my heartache when Marti's personal problems caused the band to split, and my delight when they reformed last year and of course I was extremely pleased when my children presented me with this DVD for Christmas. Right so who are the gentlemen that make up this group that still have me regularly bopping along : Well firstly we have Mark Mclaughlin. Who on earth's that I hear you yell, well actually it's Marti Pellow, he of the smouldering look and come to bed eyes, lead singer of the Wets. He has the most marvellous voice to go with those looks, and has recently been playing the role of Billy Flynn... Read review
