Advantages: packed full with techniques and information; a serious well presented resource
Disadvantages: some may find it pricey (although not if you remember the almost 4 hours viewing time!)

say that, having watched the DVD a couple of times and used some of the self-massage techniques, I do not regret the expense and think of it more as an investment. Three hours and forty minutes of instructions on massage techniques, acupuncture (acupressure) points, theory of 'qi', demonstrations... Seventy minutes are dedicated to self massage and I can confirm that the techniques do help alleviate aches, pains and tension! Dr Yang is humble enough to have left the voice-over to someone whose mother tongue is English (many Taiji /Qigong DVDs are difficult to understand due to the delivery of the speaker.) Yet, Dr Yang demonstrates all the techniques himself. A useful glossry of chinese terms is also included, which is extremely useful for those who want to learn more. The essential DVD

Advantages: Awesome sound and picture quality
Disadvantages: None, none at all

The Matrix was undoubtedly the coolest film of 1999... It is also a film that was made for DVD, the crisper image quality and infinitely better sound that DVD's are capable of make watching the Matrix on DVD far far better than on video. I don't think it's necessary to describe the film...if you haven't seen it then watch it right now... original, stylish, ground breaking special effects, great soundtrack and ultimately very cool. The effects of massage

Advantages: Brilliant when given by a skilled person
Disadvantages: If they arent skilled, it can be horrid!!!

Given the right person, a massage can be a wonderful experience. Skilled massage can range from highly expensive private clinics to free treatment on the NHS by physiotherapists. Before running off to pay for a massage, there are a few situations where a massage is not suitable. These include flare ups of pathological conditions, skin infections that could spread, over an open wound or upto the first 4 days over bruising, over a possible malignancy as it could increase the blood supply to the cancer.
