I have watched this DVD a dozen times now i think - its lovely a to see how Hugh enthuses about the simple life - growing your own veg, raising animals, and being self sufficient...as I also live on a small farm I get immense pleasure watching his trials and successes because I can relate to them myself. If you hanker for the country life this DVD is a wonderful introduction to what to expect - the fruits of your labours are very rewarding and the country neighbours CAN be ( at least mine are!) as friendly as you see them in the dvd. In my area the going rate for meat swapping is 1/2 sheep = 1/4 cow :) not a bad deal LOL ..... if your a 'townie' and simply want to sit back and watch someone get dirty and cook great food you will also love this because its funny, light hearted and has some devine recipes. Highly recommended to everyone .
