Advantages: Addictive fun, One of the better Wii games. Disadvantages: None.
This is a great sporting event for the whole family to enjoy and compete in. The different events range from 100m, Relay, Equatics, Fencing, Table Tennis, Trampolining, Triple Jump, Long Jump, Hammer, Javelin and more. Locked events will be avaliable after gaining world records, olympic records, gold medals and trophies, all of this can be earnt to give you the feel of sucess and the achievment of an athletes dream.
This is one of the better Wii games I've played as it is fun and addictive, trying to win that long-awaited medal that you have been training for years. Use your Mii or the range of Nintendo characters to compete in your desired event.
One of my favourite events is the 100m dash as it envolves lots of energy whilst using you Wii remote & nunchuck immitating the runners arms, the fast you do it the faster you'll travell ...
Advantages: Great gameplay, addictive, excersise!! Disadvantages: Tiring!
Really good game with loads of different events, some of which i didnt even know were olympicevents! There are hundreds of hours of gameplay to have, on your own or with your friends and there is a genuine sense of accomplishment when you beat them!
There is a series of competitions to do before you unlock all of the events for multiplayer gaming, and doing that alone will probably make your biceps double in size! This game is really tiring but the first Wii game that actually does make you fitter.
The actual gaming side of things means that you dont necessarily need a Nunchuk, however having one does improve the quality of gameplay, making your movements much more precise with the movements you see on screen.
Events available to play are 100m, 400m, 110m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, javelin, hammer, table tennis ...
Advantages: variety of games to play Disadvantages: Slow loading
Mario & Sonic at the olympicgames was the first game i bought after getting a Wii for christmas.
I personally think that it is an excellent first game to get for the Wii. You can happily play for hours and hours becuase of the wide variety of events you can play. These events include;
*"Swimming"
*"Archery"
*"Running"
*"Hurdles"
*"Long jump"
*"Triple jump"
*High jump"
*"Pole vault"
*"Hammer throw"
*"Javeline throw"
*"Epée"
*"Trampoline"
*"Vault"
*"Rowing"
*"Skeet"
*"Tennis"
So as you can see by this list you have a wide variety to choose from but you also have the options of unlocking different games, this can be done by breaking records and so on. Mario & Sonic at the OlympicGames is fun for all the family to enjoy because it has a multiplayer option of upto 4 people. You also get to choose from all your favourite ...
