Advantages: Fast paced, witty dialogue, great acting Disadvantages: None that I can think of at the moment
Okay, I had been hearing about this show for a good few years now and it is only now that I decided to take the plunge and watch it. Let me tell you, I am so glad that I did.
Fast paced, well written scripts full of great dialogue that turns situations we have seen a hundred times before into real comedy treats.
Background, it's about a star and his mates that come along for the ride. You must remember Dicaprio after Titanic....him and his mates ... ...this film is basically about Mark Wahlberg in his younger days, hence why he is the producer of the show..
What's really great about it though is that not one single character is wasted, with each one bringing their own dynamic to the group.
You have got to see Jeremy Piven as the agent, he excels..you know the guy..the one who never got the leads in movie but was always supporting as the best friend.....Grosse Point Blank jumps straight to mind...

Entourage - my view Review ofEntourage - Series 1 - Complete (Box Set)by
mitz101
Advantages: Light hearted and humorous Disadvantages: Short series'
Do not have the box set as I have recordings of the whole series, but the review is in general of my view on the series it self.
The Series is about a young movie star and his mates and their lives in the showbiz world... movie offers, decisions etc...
It's slightly more light hearted than the serious programmes like Prison Break and Lost (which are great) - but this slightly different and has a good comedy factor mixed with drama. Each episode ... ...of entertainment.
You can be sure to fins A LOT of very good looking ladies in this series - they do pick some real stunners. And for the ladies, I assume you'll probably like the guys in the show! It is rated 15 for a reason - there is a lot of swearing at times and quite a bit of sexual content at times also. There is also the use of 'the herb' meaning they don't want younger viewers to be influenced into that stuff. The show itself has many guest ...

So that he'll never forget where he's from, actor-on-the-rise Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier) enlists the company and support of his childhood pals from Queens, NY, to join him on his path towards stardom. More than happy to oblige, Eric (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), and Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) eagerly move into Chase's L.A. mansion, where they enjoy endless parties in the company of beautiful women. With Hollywood as their playground, it doesn't take long for the entourage to discover that celebrity life is not all fun and games, especially as they contend with the high-pressure tactics of Vince's hilariously cutthroat agent, Ari (Jeremy Piven), and no-nonsense publicist, Shauna (Debi Mazar). Highlights of this HBO series include special quest appearances by real-life celebrities including Jessica Alba, Jimmy Kimmel, and Mark Wahlberg, who also executive produces the show.
