...This is the 'must have' DVD for all England football fans. It has 4 DVDs containing the following: Disc 1 - England 4:1 Holland From Euro 96. We all remember that game. It was the one we were supposed to lose to the classy Holland team of Bergkamp and co. Messrs Shearer, Sheringham and Gazza hadn't read the script. This DVD contains the complete match from start to finish with commentary by Motty etc from the BBC. From the moment Ince won the penalty it was heaven to watch. A night I won't forget (The Cricketers pub Bow E3!) This disc brought it all back. The icing on the cake was conceding a late goal to Holland which put Scotland out too - it doesn't get any better than that! Or does it?... Disc 2 - Germany 1:5 England Yes it does get better. Advantages: very funny, shows the colourful side of Ricky Tomlinson
Disadvantages: to much like a documentary

...is determined the team will play 4-4-2 formation. The game kicks off and England score, however by the end of 90 mins, England end up losing 2-1. Next match similar kind of result, i.e. not what they wanted, last match they loose, however by pure fluke turkey beat the team they are playing and England qualify on goal difference. Off to Brazil they go and in the group phase they do terrible, the press hang Bassett out to dry, while all this is happening in Brazil, Bassetts wife and son are getting greif from fans back in UK, resulting in his wife leaving him. Just prior to the last group stage match against Argentina, Mike Bassett becomes a little bit worse for wear and is spotted not only by the great man himself PELE but also the press who have a field day. In Dolby Digital, the sound is crystal clear and the recordings of the crowd from the actual games really help transfer the amazing atmosphere which must have been present all those... Read review
