Hackman's role is an extension of Harry Caul, the character he portrayed in Francis Ford Coppola's brilliant 1974 film, THE CONVERSATION. Smith scores as a man who is desperate to reclaim his identity and prove his innocence. This intense technological thrill-ride from director Tony Scott questions how much access the government should have to the communications of private citizens, and leaves the viewer with the unsettling feeling that Big Brother is definitely watching. Watch for the uncredited appearances of Jason Robards, Seth Green, Tom Sizemore, and Philip Baker Hall.

This is another film, which stars the famous WILL SMITH. He works with Gene Hackman. This film is an action thriller and if you are interested in technology then this is the film for you. This isn’t a science fiction film if you hate those kinds of films.
The plot is about ROBERT DEAN (WILL SMITH) who is a very successful attorney is central Washington DC. This man is given a top-secret video that shows a top political murder. He doesn’t know that he has the video but his half normal life is turned up side down when he is bugged so the TOP NSA SURVEILLANCE OFFICIALS know where he is all the time, 24 7 to try and get the film back and make sure that Dean doesn’t figure out that he has it and tell the police.
The film is very impressive and action packed. The film is about Dean trying to prove his innocence and trying to get his life back.
