Story
The game takes place between episode III and episode IV and follows the battle up to the eventually potential destruction of the Death Star, depending on the options you had chosen through the game. You can play as either the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire.

The main game is the single player campaign game, but there is basic galactic conquest, skirmish matches and online multiplayer to chose from giving the game plenty of options to choose from.

Aside from the fact that you have to have an online steam account to play this game , which in my opinion is an awful idea i think this is the next step in the total war series , it has been simplified a bit to previous games in the series and has added in some new things that blow you away. this game makes the oceans a key part of the game, which in my opinion makes it stand out in front of any other game of its type , the sea battles and trade routes only amplify this. The land battles are as ever absolutely unbelievable as the series has been known for, the choice of nations, huge campaign map and different ways in which to complete campaigns make this game seem new again and again, the multiplayer part of the game bring the epic battles you enjoy in the single player to life against people all over the world. Advantages: Everything is great except.... Disadvantages: Edit mode.
This product is excellent. After playing for ages on samurai warriors 2, you really start to feel like you want to start your own conquest of the world. My only criticism is the make an officer mode, i felt it should have been more like the edit mode on Dynasty warriors 5 empires, where you have lots of different combinations, instead of using computer character models.
The benefits of this game is you can play it forever and ever, it is time consuming due to its addictiveness, that can be bad and good, depends on how you think of it.
the characters can be made to have maxed out stats and you can even teach them the double jump technique ( message me if you want to know). there is a wide range of tactics, which means you can have a large variety of different battles, based on different tactics.
