Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky

Empire Records is one of those mid-90's teen angst style films with a sugary addictive soundtrack.
Here are some facts:
Released in 1995
Main Cast Members:
Anthony LaPaglia - Joe Maxwell Caulfield - Rex Manning Debi Mazar - Jane Rory Cochrane - Lucas Johnny Whitworth - AJ Liv Tyler - Corey Renee Zellweger - Gina Ethan Randall - Mark
The Plot:
It's Rex Manning day (Rex Manning is a washed out artist who visits the store to promote his new album) and the teenage employees of an independent music store have one mission: to stop the store being taken over by a music chain with the added probem on one the employees (Lucas) losing the previous day's profits at a casino! Overlay love interests, depression, dawson's creek style script and great music, this film appeals to fans of films such as Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Breakfast club etc..
I could say more but then what's the point in watching it if you know everything already!
This wouldn't appeal to anyone over 30 as its target audience on release was teenagers, but I'm 23 and still watch it and love it.
