DVD Description
In this science fiction thriller, Rock Hudson tenderly portrays isolated scientist Dr. Paul Holliston, who gets involved doing experiments on a human fetuses and discovers a method to accelerate the process of the fetus growing into a mature adult in just a few days. Barbara Carrera is perfect as Victoria, his not so perfect, perfect looking instant adult female who is Holliston's first success along with a dog. And things only get worse once the "adult" fetus turns into a homicidal psycho and starts looking for a new formula to prevent her from aging any further. In a kind of contemporary science fiction thriller meets THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, director Ralph Nelson manages an effective blend of old and new plot elements. The plot driven screenplay is based on a story by Jack W. Thomas. Diane Ladd turns in a great supporting performance as Martha, Dr. Holliston's jealous housekeeper. The story wasn't filmed until ten years after its inception because producer's allegedly feared that its topic, misfortunes with growth hormones, was too provocative for audiences.
Advantages: Classic Muppetry Disadvantages: Not necessarily the very best, despite the title
...You know, you can definitely date a person by their Muppet history. Sure, you have your chronological age and your biological age, but as far as I'm concerned you have your Muppet age as well. In this part of the world at least, if you remember watching The Muppet Show you're probably now a 30 or 40 something or at least the parent of one; if you're a fan of Sesame St you're probably a little younger, given it's late arrival to these shores and subsequent disappearance from terrestrial television; Fraggle Rock? Younger still (funky bridge section in the theme song, by the way); The Muppet Babies?! Pah! You're a virtual embryo, and it was a cartoon anyway. For me, growing up in the 70s and 80s, the highlight of Saturday evening TV, along with Basil Brush and Doctor Who, was ITV's weekly outings to the vaudeville style show put on by Jim...

Advantages: Very very funny Disadvantages: Cheaper to buy the entire series, rather than the individual DVDs
...This DVD with episodes 9 - 16 is in my opinion the best DVD from Series 4.
First of all, I shall give a brief overview of each of the characters:
Rachel Green - (Jennifer Aniston), she is Monica's roommate, she loves fashion, and has a tendancy to be very materialistic.
Chandler Bing - (Matthew Perry), the funny, saracastic one of the group, who often uses humour to hide his true feelings.
Ross Geller - (David Schwimmer), Monica's brother and Rachel's ex-boyfriend. He's a palentologist and a bit of a geek, but he's really lovely and sensitive.
Monica Geller - (Courtney Cox Arquette), Ross's little sister, who used to be very fat as a child! Now shes slim, but is very neurotic, especially about the cleaniness of her apartment.
Phoebe Buffet - (Lisa Kudrow), the kooky weird one of the group. Phoebe also has a twin sister...

Advantages: Funny episodes, makes you feel good. Disadvantages: Episodes are on the wrong dvd's.
...As a great fan of friends, when I saw this dvd I had to get it and what a great dvd it is. The show ran for 236 episodes and became one of the longest running shows for a long time.
I can't say I watched this from when I was little as I was only 3 at the time it was released but I got into the show when it was in it's 6th season and I never missed an episode.
With 20 great episodes, 7 dedicated to Monica & Rachel and 6 decicated to Phoebe. it's worth all the money I spent on it.
