DVD Description
An exploration of the man and the myth from his early days to his final comeback in 1968. Features performances, interviews and rare film footage.
Advantages: Great story and acting Disadvantages: Perhaps too farfetched for some to grasp
...Bruce Campbell ---- ElvisPresley/Sebastian Haff
Ossie Davis ---- John F. "Jack" Kennedy
Ella Joyce ---- The Nurse
Heidi Marnhout ---- Callie
Bob Ivy ---- Bubba Ho-tep

Advantages: Elvis singing, great music and honest story Disadvantages: Elvis's acting is slightly wooden
..., this is a sheer pleasure. We get to watch a young Elvis strut his stuff and woo us with his wonderful songs. Although there is a love story theme, it really is not the driving force of the plot and we are left to enjoy the musical ride.
The main character in the film is Deke Rivers played by ElvisPresley (Love Me Tender), a delivery driver boy who is manipulated into becoming a famous Rock n Roll Star. This was only Elvis's second movie and his lack...

Advantages: Very indepth in details of Elvis Disadvantages: None that I could find
...Elvis may not be alive now, but his music and films live on. There will only ever be one King and that is Elvis. Details of his early life, when he was in the army and how he met some of the guys that ended up working for him, also how he met his wife and the life thy lead before he married and afterwards was very well detailed by his Wife and Daughter in depth. I could watch it again and again and still find new information about him. New fans are always coming to enjoy his music and films which is why he is still so loved by all his fans around the world. Fans visit Gracelands during his Birthday week and again in August for the Elvis week....
