Want to get buns of steel and a body to die for? You can. YES YOU CAN!
I can't believe no-one else has written an opinion on this fab fitness video. Here's why I think it's the bees knees:
I have been using this video at a fitness boost for about five years now and I'm still not bored by it.
The beauty of it's timelessness comes from several sources.
Firstly, the music used was never really high fashion chart music so has no 'sell by' date. Despite this it is very 'catchy' and has a motivational uplifting vibe throughout the video.
Both Elle and Karen Voite (the tutor) look genuinely happy for the full hour! Nothing is as infectious as someone else's good mood.
They look amazing, of course, which drives you to want a piece of whatever it is that got them that way (the workout).
The scenery where the video is set is absolutely gorgeous, so again, it makes you think happy thoughts - of exotic holidays and glorious weather.
Not forgetting the workout itself!
The whole routine is brilliantly well thought out, pushing you just hard enough to feel it but not too much to make you dread ever partaking in such hell again.
The video is split into alternating sections which flow one to the next seemlessly. You flit between jumping about to get your heart rate up (and burn calories), to gentle muscle enhancing exercises to let you get your breathe back whilst you tone up.
Karen Voite is excellent as the main tutor - explaining every move in faultless detail, whilst managing to not sound patronizing.
Elle is equally charming and bashful and makes a couple of human errors during the video which help to make you feel smug. See if you can spot them - there's at least two fluffed lines or missed cues and a couple of blatant wrong moves. All good fun if you're a regular viewer!
Once you finish the video - you actually feel more energetic than before (never tired) and may even feel like doing it all over again (don't).
I found that even though I'd only done the workout to get my tummy back in shape - I'd developed rather lovely arms as a byproduct and a bum you could crack nuts with.
I'd recommend it to anyone - exept people I hate.

I want it! One thing I always want to know when reading these sort of ops is how much room you need in your living room? I have the Hotpants Workout DVD which is fab but there's not enough room in my house, you find yourself dancing into furniture etc!!

great op :) I have just bought this vid after reading the ops on ciao! I was just wondering how many times a week you are supposed to do the vid? It is hard work, but very good fun and I agree that it leaves you with tons of energy. It's a great feeling when you get to the end :) Thanks
