Elizabethtown is another of my all time favourite films. It has everything a film needs; Love, death, an incredible journey with a very happy ending.
Plot ^^^^^ In 2005, Orlando bloom gets the call that his father is dead and he has to deal with it. Following a recent 'fiasco' at work, this is the last thing he needs. So, Drew (Bloom) makes the journey from Oregon to Elizabethtown to met with the other side of his family (An experience, im sure, that he will never want to repeat.) but the sad journey is brightened up by Claire, an upbeat, optimistic air hostess who decides to take Drew to a whole new place. So, after the funeral, after being hunted down by Claire. he follows her 'map' which leads him to her.
Credits ^^^^^^^^^ Starring Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon and Produced by Cameron Crowe and Tom Cruise. This film will leave you with hope for love. This extrordinary film was nominated for 3 BFCA awards, 1 grammy and won the hollywood film award for best supporting actress (Susan Sarandon)
More... ^^^^^^^ Told in a semi-narrated way, the story tells us more than any other about the thoughts and feelings of the characters, whilst still managing to show us the incredible story, filling us with happiness. Filmed to a superb soundtrack, with the best props and setting imaginable, this film could set the standard for future 'incredible journey' film.
The Extras ^^^^^^^^^^^^ The DVD contains subs in plenty of languages, as well as photo-galleries of the main characters, 2 trailers and other extras from the film. With easy to navigate menus and audio options. the Elizabethtown DVD is as good as any other.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" in the top right of the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
