Having watched a preview of The Road to El Dorado I would recommend it as a family friend. I took my 16 year old son, who expected to be bored but sat watching it intently and occasionally laughing. I also took my 9 year old son who enjoyed it as well. The storyline was good with many signs of humour, both for adults and children. The music was from Elton John and Tim Rice and was the standard you would expect from them. Watch out especially for the horse. I really could not find anything to fault it as a family film, except perhaps the price of the popcorn!
