The car we reviewed was a Vauxhall Corsa SXI Twinport with a 1.2 litre 16 valve engine. It was standard spec with alloy wheels fitted. Full specifications are available Here Driving experience Driving the Corsa can only be described in a single word: Easy. The clutch is light, there is no way to put the car into the wrong gear, and the power-assisted steering, unlike the engine, is powerful. The combination of all of this means that it is very simple to drive. The instrument panel is simple - Spartan, even - and there is very little to distract you from the reason why you are behind the wheel: driving the car. Performance out of the 1.2 litre Twinport was adequate - You will never be the first one away from stop-lights, and acceleration is not great at higher speeds, but it does offer enough power to take you where you need to go. ...
Advantages: Good range of feature. Cheap running costs. Disadvantages: Very common cars.
This is the Second of the Corsa C Models we have owned. Our first car was a 2000 model 1.0 Club which served us well during the 2 years we owned it. The car was cheap to run, nice to drive, but was let down by the basic equipment Vauxhall gave us as Standard.
Why Another Corsa.

In January and Feburary I had 2 different new shape Fiesta as hire cars and I did rate the drive and comfort of the cars very highly. They were similar to drive as the excellant all round Focus model. You did feel a lot of bumps in the road but in general it was a very good car. The first Fiesta was a 1300 Finesse which was as slow as they come. You didnot change into second gear until 50 mph....well it felt that way!. The car was way to slow. The next Fiesta was a 1400 LX and was quicker if you revved it hard. The reason that a 1400 ...
Advantages: very good value, cheap insurance Disadvantages: engine is tuned compared to the size of the car
I am going to write about my beloved Corsa sxi 1.2i experience. well let me start from the beginning. I started driving with peugeot 106. i had 3 of them in a raw. i was in love with them as they seem to be quiet fast for tiny little engine.
But 1 day my mate turn up with his 1.2 sxi and challenge me to race him. I laughed at him because i had 1.4 quicksilver. so we decided to give it a go, believe it or not i couldn't pull away from the sxi, even it was only a 1.2i. so the following week i decided to go and find my self a sxi and trade the 106 in. Finally found a nice black sxi, 1.2i 16v 3 door. 2days later i decided to replace the original exhaust with a hks side exit cat back system and a apexi induction kit, relocated to the front by the bumper and lowerd with coilovers.
Believe it or not after the modification that car ...

Album Notes
Generally considered to be one of Einsturzende Neubauten's most accessible albums, 1985's HALBER MENSCH finds the German industrial ensemble tempering its sonic assault with the occasional nod to melodies and conventional song structures. Although it seemed as though founding member Blixa Bargeld's dual loyalties to Neubauten and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds might result in diminished returns for the former band, the situation arguably enhanced the Berlin-based group's sound, with greater attention to mood now joining the act's penchant for noise. The ominous, pounding, and vaguely danceable "Yu-Gung (Futter Mein Ego)" points to where Ministry would head in the following years, while the clanging "Seele Brennt" is broken up by moments of near-silence, and the eerie (and unexpected) take on Lee Hazlewood's "Sand" nods to '50s/'60s rock & roll, revealing Neubauten's newfound aesthetic balance. For those new to Einsturzende Neubauten, this is the best point of departure, and it remains a landmark industrial record.
