Advantages: great british film Disadvantages: none
enjoyable and funny film although it is totally predictable. If you accept this then it doesn't matter at all. It does stand alone as a film and I don't think that you need to have watched Bridget Jones' Diary first but if you have you will obviously appreciate some of the storylines a bit better. There is also some great background music at times in the film including I'm Not In Love by 10cc and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word by Mary J. Blige.
This film was made in 2004 and has a rating of 15 as it contains strong language, sex and drugs references. The running time is 108 minutes.
There are lots of DVD extras and these are divided in three sections - Bridget's area, Daniel's area and Mark's area which make it a bit different! I haven't watched all of these but there was an amusing 'alternative beginning' which I enjoyed and there ...
Advantages: Excellent Songs Disadvantages: Bonus CD Has Some Obscure Tracks
?Seventeen Seconds? was the second Album released by the Punk/Goth band, The Cure. It was released in the April of 1980 although it did not probably make it into my vinyl record recollection until around five years later. Originally released on the Fiction record label this is the only Cure studio Album to feature Keyboard player Matthieu Hartley.
In 2005 Fiction records teamed up with the Band?s current record label, Rhino and re-issued this Album to mark its 25th anniversary. This re-issued version has been digitally remastered and not only contains the original ten tracks that featured on this Album, it also comes with a second CD Disc that contains a further fifteen tracks of oddities and rarities that were recorded around the same time. Just in case this was not enough this new package also comes with a booklet that is packed ...
Advantages: Bring back the punk music Disadvantages: I miss the little chats between songs
AT THE EDGE, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, LIVE AND KICKING DVD
Being a child of the 1970's, with older sisters who were in to punk, mod and a variety of music. Although I heard Stiff Little Fingers (SLF) when I was younger, I did not really buy any albums etc until I got together with the hubby who reintroduced me to them.
Formed in 1977 the band was named Highway Star the Belfast. Shortly after the bands formation the name changed shortly changed to Stiff Little Fingers. The band fits nicely in to the punk music genre but has a hint of Irish/celtic tones underlying in their music.
There have been some band member changes the current band line up is Jake Burns, Ian McCallum, Steve Grantley and Ali McMordie.
SLF music has a knack for introducing their life experiences into their music and in listening to their music you are also ...
