DVD Description
Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer have spent most of their adult lives playing the blues, something which is immediately apparent from this live performance at the Ohne Filter Theatre on March 30, 1990. Songs features include "Keep Playing that Rock 'n' Roll," "Free Ride," "I Play Guitar," and many more.
Advantages: Generally good concert, 'Old Medley' is great. Disadvantages: Bonus features could be better. Needs less pop and more prog!
...to manually select every question from a big list. There's also a 'Live Commentary Track' where you can hear the band's reactions on watching the DVD through - to be honest, it's pretty pointless - nothing particularly interesting is said, there's a lot of silence, occasional phones going off - you're betting off just watching the concert and enjoying the music!
Overall, like I say, this is a pretty good concert. Highlights for me include some interesting versions of the 'Musical Box' and 'The Lamb', and 'Firth Of Fifth' is always pretty awesome to see. The other songs are good, well played, but I'd possibly advise people to go for the latest 'When In Rome' DVD instead - it's got exactly the same member lineup, but with better quality visuals, and a set list which includes epics such as a 'In The Cage' and 'Cinema Show', as well as better bonus...

Advantages: Paul Weller live DVD Disadvantages: Can't be seen full screen on normal TV
...I've followed Paul Weller now since he started with the Jam in 1977, through his days with the Style Council, and now throughout his 'solo' career. I've seen him live 6 times, and for those of you not fortunate enough to have seen him live, a liveDVD like this one is the next best thing.
Paul Weller has inspired the 1990's bands such as Oasis and Blur, and got the title 'The Modfather'. He regularly plays on 'Later with Jools Holland', and in February 2006 he will be collecting a lifetime achievement award at the Brit Awards.
I've had a great interest in Victorian history all of my life, and to see on DVD my musical hero playing at one of the most historic venues in the UK was awe=inspiring - I travelled down to London the next time Paul played the Albert Hall just to see the concert.
Anyway, about this DVD. It captures...

Advantages: Great songs, singing, dancing, pure entertainment! Disadvantages: None
...! They end on a high with Jump (For My Love) each dressed in a different costume. Wonderful, and its a shame it had to come to an end!
The girls clearly really enjoy performing live and putting on a show. They sing fantastically well, dance amazingly and generally have a whole lot of fun! It is the first time the girls have played Wembley and keep saying how much they love saying Good Evening Wembley! I was singing along to all the songs, and I love that they sound better live thn on CD!
The DVD has 3 bonus videos; Biology, See The Day and Whole Lotta History. I would have liked more features such as interviews but never mind! The concert lasts for 90 minutes, and the videos are 5 minutes each.
The DVD sells for around £11.99, which is quite expensive but it is definitely worth it! I loved it, and if you are a Girls Aloud fan, you...
