MMVI Eddie Izzard live Box Set
Unrepeatable, Definate Article, Glorious, Dress to Kill, Circle & Sexie all in one beautiful box set.

I have one question for starters. Do you like Eddie Izzard?

If the answer is YES! then buy this box set! It's Eddie at his absolute best with so much choice of what to watch. The shows featured range from 1994 to 2003, although Eddie has been around a lot longer!

Unrepeatable is the very first glimpse we have in this fine selection. Filmed in 1994 and including DVD extras such as an Audio Commentary, Trivia Track, Photo Gallery and a Bleeped Audio Track. The audio tracks are definately worth a listen once you've watched the show properly as its Eddie, seemingly off the cuff making remarks on his own work - classic comedy.

Definate Article is next in the showcase, filmed in 1996. This is probably one of my favourites and was the first Eddie experience I had at a friends house. Absolutely brilliant in my humble opinion. Again this includes Audio Commentary, a documentary called Je Suis Stand-Up which I won't ruin the surprise by explaining but it ties in well with parts of the show, Trivia Track and Bleeped Audio Track.

The third installment is Glorious, filmed in 1997. This was the only one I hadn't seen before. I have to say that it is just as good as the rest and Glorious by name, Glorious by nature. Again includes the Audio Commentary, Trivia Track and Bleeped Audio Track. This DVD comes with a documentary entitled Lust for Glorious and believe me, you will!

Next on the list is Dress to Kill, filmed in 1998. Another firm favourite of mine. DVD includes Dress to Circle, Paris, Commentary, America 1998 and Trivia Track.

Number five is, Circle, filmed in 2000. Not my absolute favourite but still very funny to say the least. Includes Documentary footage, Commentary and Trivia Track.

And last but by no means least is Sexie, filmed in 2003. I actually went to see this live in Sheffield and it was Fantastic! The show was very well titled with Sexie all over the place, and of course Mr Izzard on top form. The only downside was having experienced it live, I was really looking forward to the DVD as, I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the show. There was one part imparticluar that isn't included in the DVD so I was a little disappointed. It doesn't affect the viewer though and I will always carry it with me in the 'Laugh so hard I nearly died' part of my brain.
