The Muppets at Christmas
Review of The Muppets Christmas Carol (DVD) by  gollum3273

Advantages: Fantastic for Chidren....and us oldies too..
Disadvantages: You always want to watch it, again and again and again..

...singing is all about how bad scrooge is. After all it is the season to be jolly, and Christmas is the time for love and laughter. As you would probably guess the main Muppet characters get the lead parts with Gonzo being the narrator, with his new friend Rat. Kermit has the lead role of Bob , with the ever faithful Miss Piggy as his adoring wife, but there appears to be something going on or should I say have gone on as there are now 2 more pigs in the scene with Miss Piggy, and they are twins, but wait they are not alone they seem to have gained 2 frog sons too. So I think the stories were true that they really were a couple. ( you know what I mean) Anyhow, back to the story the best scrooge is played by non other than Mr Michael Cane, who gives an outstanding performance ,as the Bah Humbug, greedy penny pinching Ebenezer... Another great Muppets film
Review of The Muppets Christmas Carol (DVD) by  scooby32

Advantages: A great family film.
Disadvantages: none

...The Muppets Christmas carol is a great family film for christmas. I first watched this film at the cinema in 1992 (on my own) because I love the muppets and since then I have seen this film I don't know how many times. Its almost always on over christmas every year but never on when you want to watch it, so I bought it on DVD. A story based on the Charles Dickens novel Scrooge. The muppets tell their interpretation of Scrooge. Its full of puppet characters as well as humans. They have never made a bad film and they were not about to now. Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine) is the bah humbug character, who does not believe in Christmas and the spirit and joy that comes with it. If he can make money by making people work through the festive holidays then he will. Alone on christmas eve scrooge is visited by 3 ghosts, the ghost... Read review
