Advantages: A nice entry level movie for those interested in cannibals Disadvantages: Badly edited
....... Native girl
Mel Ferrer
.... Professor Carter
This Vipco release is highly edited from the original release, but it's not a bad thing really as I'll explain in depth in a while. The scenes were edited to ensure a UK release of this infamous cannibal movie. The downfall with the editing process is that with the cuts that have been made; unless you're a big Italian horror movie fan you won't be aware that it is a cannibal movie. Without these scenes you simply have a tale of cultism in New Guinea.
On the reassuring side the scenes edited were in fact cuts made from other films. Advantages: great camera work, amazing musicianship, great sound quality Disadvantages: pretty heavy music and probably wouldn't appeal to most people

Gojira's songwriting and musicianship are a cut above the rest and will blow you away when you see them live. Their music is insanely heavy but at the same time very beautiful and intelligent. It is a wonder to me that they are just starting to get publicity over here in the states, its just a matter of time until they get the recognition they deserve. Gojira's live performance will melt your face off and this DVD captures every wonderful aspect of the band....
