The "Evolution" of Dead or Alive. (On DVD)
Review of Dead Or Alive - Evolution DVD by  Tonster

Advantages: Really Good Music Vids
Disadvantages: Missing Some Of My Favorite Songs

...and really couldn't decide which version I thought was better. So, I liked them both the same,... The song was really released to mark the celebration of, both its singular success around the world and to boost the success of their (Dead or Alives) 'Hits Collection'. Both the CD and DVD. Which is what I will be talking about now,... I'm Sure I've Seen That Before!
Review of Eaten Alive DVD by  sghawken

Advantages: A nice entry level movie for those interested in cannibals
Disadvantages: Badly edited

....... Native girl Mel Ferrer .... Professor Carter This Vipco release is highly edited from the original release, but it's not a bad thing really as I'll explain in depth in a while. The scenes were edited to ensure a UK release of this infamous cannibal movie. The downfall with the editing process is that with the cuts that have been made; unless you're a big Italian horror movie fan you won't be aware that it is a cannibal movie. Without these scenes you simply have a tale of cultism in New Guinea. On the reassuring side the scenes edited were in fact cuts made from other films. When Eaten Alive or Mangiati Vivi as its known in Italy was released the world could not get enough of cannibal movies. However the money was not there to progress this lust the public had for this type of film. In probably what is one of the most original cost... Read review

Gojira - The Link Alive DVD
Review of Gojira - The Link Alive DVD by  satchjr2

Advantages: great camera work, amazing musicianship, great sound quality
Disadvantages: pretty heavy music and probably wouldn't appeal to most people

...Gojira is the best metal band to come out of France and probably one of the best metal outfits in the world. The new kings of American heavy metal, Lamb of God, have given these guys nothing but praise and for good reason! Gojira's songwriting and musicianship are a cut above the rest and will blow you away when you see them live. Their music is insanely heavy but at the same time very beautiful and intelligent. It is a wonder to me that they are just starting to get publicity over here in the states, its just a matter of time until they get the recognition they deserve. Gojira's live performance will melt your face off and this DVD captures every wonderful aspect of the band.... Read review
