...I thought Hard rain was very good film. This movie is about a truck been robbed during a flood. The drivers are played by Christian Slater and Edward Asner. Morgan Freeman wants the money. The plot is basically-there is a bad storm and the town is evacuated. Christian Slater (tom)is in charge of rescuing £3,000,000 dollars, but a group of theives plan to get it off of him. Both Slater and Freeman play cat and mouse though out the movie. This movie is a fast paced action thriller that stars Christian Slater as the hero. The action is excellent with explosions jet ski chases and of course shootouts. The plot is very original with some superb twists in the tale to keep you entertained. There are Good performances from Christian Slater and Minnie Driver. This movie is great if you like action movies, lots of special effects. Overall... Read review

...Hard Rain although not well known is a good all rounder film.It stars Christian Slater who has finally managed to get rid of the idea that his looks are the only good thing about him, and has proven how good an actor he really is. Morgan Freeman also excells in this film, and for once plays a baddie who we manage to grow to like. The film revolves around a mixed up hijacking pliot, the attempt to steal thousands of dollars from an armed truck, the involvement of Slaters p[artner in this, and very importantly, an horrific storm where everywhere is flooded. Slater, one of the guards manages to hide the money, but he ends up getting more than he bargained for, with the film climaxing with a hostage situation after a long action packed chase.I better mention that on eof the hostages is Minnie Driver who acts as well as she normally does... ...A young boy called Danny loves the action hero Jack Slater, (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger). He often visits the picture theatre to get lost in the fast paced action movies, he has a friend who is the projectionist.. a little bit like father christmas who gives him a magic ticket to the new Jack Slater film. This ticket isn't just any ordinary ticket, it's a magical ticket that will take Danny and put him right in the middle of Arnold Schwarzenager's adventures. He lands in the back seat of his car as he is doing a driving stunt.
