I bought this DVD when it came out last year so now it's time to review it.
Basically early doors is set in a small pub up north called The Grapes .Where everyday when the clock strikes 5.30 a crowd of 5 arrives and whinge , moan and talk about how boring and dull life is Don't let this put you off though as it truly is an excellent series.
The show like all good comedy's has some very lovable characters; Tommy, the miserable old sod who goes to the pub to avoid loneliness at home, then sits on his own; Eddie , the boring bloke in the corner who spends his life talking about traffic congestion and Jean , Kens(landlord) mum who eats his profits away , quite literally.
I really do recommend this DVD to all comedy lovers out there, Series 2 is currently been re-shown on BBC 1 on Thursday nights at 10:45 so take a look at this genius programme, I love it and I'm sure most of you will.
*****The price : the series 1 DVD can be bought from most Music/DVD stores for around £10-£15 ,You might want to wait though as series 2 is released later this month(September 26th)and there will be a "box set" with series 1&2 in it on sale for £21(www.bbcshop.co.uk)*****
