8-Mile is rated a 15 so it is only suitable for people aged over 15 due to some sexual scenes in the film.

All the cast within this film are brilliant actors making the film realistic and helping you really get into the film.

Advantages: A great tribute. Stellar line-up. Benefits a worthy cause. Disadvantages: Some of the fashons are now very dated!
These two DVDs comprise a tributeto Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 after succumbing to AIDS. All the artists involved gave their time for free - and those included reads like a Who's Who of British rock music, in addition to artists from overseas such as Metallica and Liza Minelli.
There is an array of "extras" on the 2 DVDs, including rehearsal footage for each act (press enter when you see the "i" box at the corner of your screen), a documentary on the great Freddie Mercury and press photos from the event itself.

Advantages: Ideal example of Miles' style at the time - funky and fun. Disadvantages: Not for everyone (but definitely worth a shot)
Miles Davis was one of the most influencial musicians of the last century, constantly innovating as a jazz sideman, soloist and bandleader. The trumpeter was at the forefront of bebop, 'cool' jazz, rock fusion, and funk. "Jack Johnson" falls in the middle of Miles' fusion period, with such albums as the famous "Bitches Brew" and "In a Silent Way".

This music was written by Miles as a soundtrack to the documentary "A Tributeto Jack Johnson". Johnson was a black boxer, heavyweight champion in 1908.
