Advantages: Covers all of their albums in a chronological fashion Disadvantages: Some hilariously bad cliches from the presenters/sound quality
...This isn't a bad DVD as such. It covers each album well and the critical assessments are not unfair. There's some good footage from Australia in 72 and some interviews with John Bonham and John Paul Jones from the late 60's. There is more of the 1968 Scandanavian TV programme than I had seen before as well.
However, some of the presenters are truly bad. Worth watching for comedy alone is "Crusher's" review of each album.
Tommy Vance appears to have been stitched into the sofa he's sitting on as he doesn't appear to be able to move.
Sound quality is a bit ropey as well.
Not bad if you can pick it up for under say £7 as an introduction to the band, but otherwise buy the albums or the 4 DVD set from Warners....

Advantages: an awesome live set by the biggest metal band in the world Disadvantages: not the best set listing but o.k
...this 2 disc set is possibly one of their best yet with an awesome mix of their old songs and their new stuff at that time.
james and the boys rock fort worth texas and totally kick ass in this close set on a small stage.
the power failure stunt a great twist and gave that more raw sound and as for the meledy of their classic album tracks from killem all and ride the lightening albums this set just rocked its just a shame that they started to go poprock with their tracks like hero of the day and king nothing etc. but the classics still rocked
a must for the deserving rocker.
go and buy it and see for yourself....
