...The third and final part (as of yet) of the Die Hard series and Bruce Willis is back this time alongside Samuel L Jackson.
This Widescreen version is suitable for anyone who's television set as the ability to show widescreen pictures. With this you can see more of the film has it was intended to be seen at the cinema. Sometimes films are cut to fit onto standard screen sizes. The film is probably the best of the three films and Jackson gives Willis a run for his money in the action scenes.
The Villian played by Jeremy Irons although not as good has Alan Rickman in the first Die Hard film does an excellent potrayal of a German villian. If you are a fan of the series but have only watched them on television (with adverts betwween) then go and purchase this film and see how it was intended to be seen....

Advantages: Funny, Good Acting. Disadvantages: A Bit Predictable.
...I saw EdTV a while back but saw it again last night and I thought it was really funny. I know many people think it’s just a rip off of the Truman show but it is quite different. Many say it has the same concept, which is reality TV but the genres and story of the two are quite different.
The movie starts out with small time TV executive Cynthia Topping (Ellen DeGeneres) and her idea for a new reality TV show called true TV. She explains the concept of the show is to pick one person and follow them around with a camera for one whole month 24/7. There is a big risk involved with this show but the TV Company isn’t very popular so they need to do something to make them bigger. The person they pick is small time country boy Ed Pekurny (Matthew McConaughy) who works in a video store. His life isn’t very interesting...

Advantages: Some very good one liners, entertaining Disadvantages: Released too soon perhaps
...was probably not the first choice for the role, as there are times when he just not manage to carry the film, which as a lead he should be able to do.
Jenna Elfman has made the transition from sitcoms to big screen pretty well, but I still do not think she has enough diversity to become a huge star, and is very much a second rate Renee Zellwegger imitator. Harrelson is his usual self, annoying but entertaining, and the role of Ray suits him down to the ground.
I have heard many people compare this and Jim Carrey's Truman Show, however I think that whilst they address the same subject, the results are far different, and the underlying messages are coming from different angles, and I actually prefer EDtv, as it has the humour and the pace that Truman Show lacked a little. it address the somewhat uncomfortable issue that really all the viewing...
